| VIEW DONA ANA COUNTY MAPPING SYSTEM
HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS TO VIEW MAPS OF ALL PROPERTIES IN DONA ANA COUNTY, INCLUDING LAS CRUCES, DONA ANA, MESILLA, MESILLA PARK, ETC.
Here is how you get to the map site on the county website.
go to:
www.co.dona-ana.nm.us/assesor/
Select "real property search" sort of at top in center
toward the middle of the next page that comes up, click on "gis map". It is usually in a different color than the other verbage.
At the next page at the bottom, just click on I Agree.
You will see a "search type" drop down box. The one I usually choose is "property address" then in the next box put in the address and click "search".
You will see the county seal with items flashing around it while it is trying to open the map up.
When that comes up, your parcel - property should be highlighted in green.
If you want to make the parcel bigger, click on the + on top of the magnifying glass (zoon in ) on the left top and then click on your highlighted parcel. This will make it bigger. If you want it even bigger, repeat this process - You always have to click on the parcel after clicking the zoom in icon.
After you have it the size you want, if you want to print it off, click on the printer icon at the top right of the page. It is next to the green eraser icon.
You will see at the bottom left corner a "create print page" and click on that.
A map should come up that you can print. Sometimes my map is showing in my bars that are showing what files I have open but that could just be my system. You may have a page at the bottom of your computer or you may be able to do file print.
Printing the map in color gives you better detail.
It looks to me like the Anasazi house is right next to the driveway and the north property line. So, most of the property is east and south of the house and a good bit also to the west.
